As I have pursued a career in Manufacturing I have gained many years of experience in design and fabrication. Those skills have evolved over time into a passion for creating new things from raw materials. Anyone who knows me on a personal level knows my favorite Mantra is "STRIVE FOR PERFECTION" A moving target that will never be obtained but helps us to improve and keeps us moving in a positive direction every day. I try to apply this philosophy to every aspect of my life but feel that this pride of work is what separates those who are capable from the "True Craftsman". The goal is to make sure that this philosophy is recognizable in everything built here at ORI DESIGNS. My favorite part of the process is seeing people's reaction to the pieces that we build. If we have the privilege of working with you I hope the process from start to finish as well as the end product is something we can all be proud of.

For as long as I can remember I've been building mechanical things. Nothing brings me as much joy as hearing the exhaust gas escaping the tailpipe on the first start of a finished build. Finding the hidden potential in existing designs really excites me. I love the challenges that arise when blending components from different eras to create something new and one-of-a-kind. I’ve been working with steel for most of my life. I love the process of designing and building all sorts of things. The idea that you can literally melt two pieces of steel together to make one intrigued me at an early age. After learning to weld in a Junior High shop class it kind of became part of who I am. Years later I’m applying those and many other skills to create one of a kind Pieces for Restaurants, Collaborative work spaces, offices and homes. Our pieces are robust, hand crafted, and built to withstand the test of time. #handmedowns I hope you like what you see here.
